ChemSHERPA is a standardized format and platform for exchanging chemical substance information, developed in Japan by the Joint Article Management Promotion Consortium (JAMP). It is designed to streamline the accurate and efficient transfer of chemical data across global supply chains, especially within sectors like electronics, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.

The system supports Full Material Disclosure (FMD), allowing companies to report the chemical composition of their products at the material level. This enables compliance with global regulations such as EU REACH (SVHCs), EU RoHS, China RoHS, and TSCA. By offering a unified, structured, and verified data-sharing approach, ChemSHERPA helps reduce the complexity of chemical management and promotes greater transparency and accountability across the supply chain.
