It is a database created under the Waste Framework Directive (WFD) that contains information on substances of concern in complex objects (products) or articles as such.
As on January 5, 2021, companies who offer items with substances of very high concern (SVHCs) on the Candidate List in concentrations more than 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) on the EU market are required to provide ECHA with information about these articles.

Analyzing their products for SVHC’s and their concentrations as per EU REACH regulation.
If the parts contain SVHC’s more than 0.1% w/w weight by weight, then create those articles in IUCLID tool and declare all the necessary information by making it a dossier.
Finally submit the dossiers to the ECHA portal for evaluation. If the dossier is rejected, then work on the rejection to make necessary corrections and resubmit it again for approval.
